ARE YOU PART OF THE 87%?

FACT:  87% of people skip TV commercials.
FACT:  You won't want to skip this!
As promised, today I’m going to tell you about some upcoming classes.  The next Make It Take It class at the Attic Window Quilt Shop is on Tuesday, February 10th, from 3-5 and again from 6-9. Above is the bag you will be making with Diana.
This is a view of the open bag.  Call the shop to register for this class and make this stunning bag!
Marilyn has another bag class this month.  Join her on Friday, February 27th from 10-4 and make this darling coin purse.
Remember this?  I will be teaching a QAYG class on Wednesday February 4th, from 10-3.  This is a fun way to make place mats, table toppers, or quilts.  The above quilt is made with stripe and solid fabrics, but you can use any combination of fabrics, or just pull from your scrap bag.

DON’T FORGET
  • HEART OF WINTER TOUR is on February 7th.   The bus will take you to four different shops.  Lunch and dinner are included.  It’s not too late to sign up.
  • Due to the Heart of Winter Tour, FIRST SATURDAY SAMPLER moved in February ONLY from Saturday, February 7th. To Saturday, February 14th.  This will not interfere with Happy Scrappers as they will meet immediately after Sampler.
ON ANOTHER NOTE:
  • How about making your own fabric beads and using them to embellish your next bag?  Scrap Bags shows you how to make the beads here.  Then you can see how they are used to embellish bags here and here.  What a great way to use scraps.
Until next time,

Stay Calm! Stay Kind! Stay Positive!

Those bags do look like fun!

I still love your striped QAYG. I have lots of striped fabric. I should make one too.

I had a request to teach QAYG at the shop that my scrap group moved to. They scheduled two sessions of it this month. I know at least one of those sessions will make because we scheduled it for a day the student requested.
