SPRING FLING DESIGNER SHOP HOP

Isn’t this a beautiful quilt?  It is the quilt that the Attic Window Quilt Shop made for the Spring Fling Designer Shop Hop.  Seven shops are participating in this fun event from Friday, April 27 through Saturday May 5 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.  For a $5 passport you will receive free fat quarters and free patterns.  Call the shop for further details.

Above Chris demonstrates how to make a hot mat during Sampler last Saturday at the shop.  There will be no Sampler in May.  In June through November Sampler will consist of various small projects.  Kits will range from $3 to $5.  Call the shop to register.

 

This is one suggestion for completing this year’s sampler.  It isn’t completed yet.  The borders aren’t on.  I didn’t get a good picture, but the borders are made up of the small squares that we completed along with the larger ones.  Chris also had a good idea for using your left over scraps on the borders.

This is another suggestion for completion.  Check out that the border.   I’m not sure, but I think Maggie might have put this together and I don’t see where she has used the small blocks.  Maybe she plans to use them on the back. I don’t think you can see it, but she did use four small corner blocks.  Stop in at the shop and get a closer look on how you can complete your sampler quilt.
