HAPPY SHACKS IS FIRST FINISH

Happy Shacks is finished!  Yeah!  My first finish of the New Year.  Happy Shacks was designed by Judy Reynolds and published by Black Cat Creations.  I love this pattern.  It sure was easier to do than that Sampler block that I posted about previously!

I love the fabric on the back too!  A two-session class on making this quilt will be held at the Attic Window Quilt Shop in March.  Details are in the newsletter which can be found on the sidebar.

DON’T FORGET:  SNOWDAYS is being held at the Attic Window Quilt Shop during the Month of January.  There will be specials all month long as well as a free snowman pattern and snowflakes.  There is also a scissor sharpening special this month.  Bring in two pair of scissors to be sharpened and get the second pair at half price.

Stitches and Scissors has a wonderful tutorial for Penelope’s Star Quilt.  Check it out!

I especially like the fence between the houses!

The star tutorial looks a lot like the Sparkle Punch quilt along quilt going on at Oh, Fransson! Interesting. Wonder which one came first or if both were conceived without knowledge of the other? Either way, it is a ver pretty pattern!

Caroll,

Can't reply to my emails at the moment as I am still away. I am absolutely not mad at you for the iron comment... ;) I always love to hear from you.
